Carcassonne: the detour we were not sure about

We were not entirely sure whether to make the small detour and go and see Carcassonne. Now we are really glad we did.

The motorhome pitch is a ten-minute walk from the fortified town, and the town is easy to visit with children — who were delighted by the fairy-tale atmosphere.

We also went into the centre of the new town, which is very pretty. But if time is short, we would put it into the fortified town.

And next time we play the board game 'Carcassonne' at Günni's parents' place, it will be even more fun.
